Dear Friends,

Early this summer some of you received an email from me called "Now time for money". For the first time since I committed myself to building the next monetary system I asked for financial support to accelerate our work, i.e. the creation of the next currency system that will free humanity from the current scarce debt-based interest-based monetary system. Wonderful answers and suggestions came from many of you. It opened fruitful conversations that may quickly lead to conscious financial support.

The current financial crisis seems to tell us how accurate and urgent is our work. It is an eye opener for many people. Reinjecting more of the same money in the old apparel will always lead to the same crisis. The Titanic didn't sink because it hurt an iceberg, it sank because it was badly designed and presumed unsinkable. It came from a belief system. Fixing it was worthless although everyone would want to fix it during the catastrophe. Trying to raise the current banking system today is like trying to raise the Titanic. Our leaders don't understand it is sinking because of its intrinsic bad design and structure, they think it's the bad luck iceberg. To build on this metaphor, our work consists in releasing a swarm of sail boats rather than fixing the old giant liner. Distributed models don't jeopardize everyone's life when a mistake is made, they belong to the people and via distributed power, they do not depend on crazy decisions of the few, they are much more resilient. Next swarm currencies are highly adaptive and interconnected, they will repattern and adjust any time there is an imbalance, just like a swarm. They are the response to today's world financial and political crisis.
Continue reading "Now time for money"
Summer 2008 is a long trip to the US, with many meetings. The first part I will be with my little boy Estéban, 6 1/2 years old. Our intention is to have wonderful, delicious time together for the 2 of us only. Professional meetings will come in a light way. The second part will be more intense professionally. This post is to inform and update all my network of friends and colleagues about this trip, so we can better synchronize.

This week, from Saturday 29 to Sunday 7 is a retreat and a fast. No meetings, no family, no parenting, no relationship, no talk, no action, no phone calls, no email, no emergency. Breathing, fasting, enjoying and reconnecting with the pure energy of life, of breath, of prana. Listening and releasing the inner demons, with love and compassion for myself.

I feel like a balloon that I just dropped and that is now floating and being carried by divine wind. It will take me exactly where I have to be. No expectations, no projections, no attachment. This retreat is for surrendering, for sitting inside the soul and let it percolate to the still ignorant, still encompassed layers of my terrestrian being.

Fasting is an important step in that regard.

Exploring the addiction to food helps me decide what exactly I want my relationship with food to be. How much prana do I want to absorb through food versus how much should come through energetical work (breathing, medidating, yoga)? What is the right balance? What is the right level of entanglement I want with food in order to serve what I came in this life for? How do I want to balance the different planes of the being (gross, subtle, etc...)?
Continue reading "Retreat and fast to prepare 2008"
Not a long time ago I was invited to participate to a conference in Washington D.C. made for governmental, U.N., Pentagon, CIA, DoD and so on decision makers. The aim of this conference was to talk and exchange key ideas about collective intelligence with people who are engaged into the most conservative and hard-coded pyramidal collective intelligence organizations. The core intention was to tell them that open source intelligence (OSINT) is much more efficient, less expensive, more serving than “secret intelligence” (usually just called as “intelligence”).

Most of international specialists on collective intelligence were invited to this conference so they could share their views and experience on such questions.

On a late notice most their invitation was canceled.
I was expecting this to happen.
Continue reading "Resistance of archaic pyramidal collective intelligence"

While I staying in California for the next 2 weeks I will check how Google is responding to the idea that community currencies are going to shift the whole monetary sytem and the whole economy in the next years. How will they see open money? I have been quite impressed by this week spent in Korea. What is remarkable about this country is that in the early sixties it was a ruined postwar country. It took one generation for this country to reach the top level nations.

What was the most amazing experience is this hunger that Koreans have manifested for knowledge sharing. From morning to evening I have been invited to give conferences, and have conversations with some of the most influential persons of the country.
