Not a long time ago I was invited to participate to a conference in Washington D.C. made for governmental, U.N., Pentagon, CIA, DoD and so on decision makers. The aim of this conference was to talk and exchange key ideas about collective intelligence with people who are engaged into the most conservative and hard-coded
organizations. The core intention was to tell them that open source intelligence (OSINT) is much more efficient, less expensive, more serving than “secret intelligence” (usually just called as “intelligence”).
Most of international specialists on collective intelligence were invited to this conference so they could share their views and experience on such questions.
On a late notice most their invitation was canceled.
I was expecting this to happen.
Practice in the field of CI gave me a natural capacity to sense where social entities -- specially the predictive ones such as collective pyramidal intelligence -- are likely to go. This intuitive knowing that the event would be cancelled was provided to me by the organizer of the conference himself. Beyond his intense effort to organize such a challenging meeting on an external level, some deeper vibrations on an internal level would manifest from him, a deeper
knowing, saying that this event wasn't meant to happen. It was not at mental/conceptual manifestation but one intertwined with emotional intelligence, conflicts in the vital plane of lower self, and a good bunch of descending wisdom. Some practice is required before one can sort out these mixed messages that pop up inside ourselves, and then see how each plane of our being may play their own game. Aligning and tuning them is another story, the one of a spiritual growth.
On a more general basis let's remind this obvious fact: systems that are not meant to change... do not change. Yes at a mental/conceptual level the people who compose them do see and agree with obvious mental propositions, such as "let's make a conference", or "let's solve this problem". But there are other planes in the individual and collective being that play a different game. The vital plane triggered by the collective “reptilian brain” is certainly a key player that can pull in opposite direction. This one doesn't express itself in the social place and doesn't like to build agreements. When it has to activate its defense and survival mechanisms it attract all sorts of "accidents". Original transforming forces are either turned down (budget cut off, someone's position changed, order coming from higher authority), highly diminished (useless conferences, timeless projects that lead nowhere...), or derived to another direction that doesn't jeopardize the integrity of the system.
Notice also in this case how the scarce money is driving the whole system's directions. It doesn't care much about individual sovereignty. The reason is it maintains people in mutual dependency via their vital needs because of its scarcity property.
Public institutions are meant to support and be governed by civil society through democratically elected representatives. Although the original intention might be governed by wisdom, reality shows they just build their own life through time. These organizations mostly evolve toward a life by themselves and for themselves. They suck energetic resources from the whole society as a living organism. They have strong autopoietic dynamics, and many collective blinding processes that prove to be quite efficient. A closer look at their whole dynamics, in systems thinking, ranges them into the parasite category. Trying to change them threatens their own vital structures, mental obviousness, reason and practical sense doesn't seem to be sufficient to succeed.
This is the reason why I am more interested in supporting and empowering individuals than changing existing systems that have already built their own autopoietic structures and whole dynamics, specially those that have plugged in their pipe into the social body as parasites. Building new, more compelling, more conscious, more attractive, more
powerful, more embracing and encompassing social organisms is more
attractive to me. My approach is to support individuals who want to commit to the practice and discipline of CIWC. I want to help them direct their wisdom (being) and practice (doing) into building a global wisdom driven organization. It is simply saving energy and a much more efficient. When a new social system proves to be more conscious and capable, it just attracts more people and it grows by itself, specially when it is governed by ultimate powerful transcendent forces: the true, good and beautiful. Although collective viruses, parasites and predators can be very impressive, they can't resist descending forces of consciousness.
The most conservative and archaic pyramidal collective intelligence structures that I am aware of are governments and global institutions such as the U.N., world bank, etc. They do have a collective reptilian brain. How can we depend on them to build something that is going to threaten their very privilege to exist, some of them being parasites for the society rather than organisms truly serving it? There might be a fine line here to explore, or maybe there is no fine line at all.
I do value, honor and want to support those who are trying to change things from the “inside”. This is their playground and where they have decided to let their soul build an experience for them through some heavy entanglement. This is a highly karmic field for heavy learning. Personally the field for my soul is definitely the one of creating new pieces of art in the social field for consciousness to create new paths and possibilities.
